The pro football player who crashed his car downtown on Friday night allegedly lied to police about it. One person who apparently was a passenger in the car says she was in fact injured enough to require stitches, and a second was also reportedly injured, despite Ndamukong Suh's recorded statements to police that everyone was fine. In addition, there was apparently no taxicab involved in the incident, contrary to Suh's version of the crash. And the Portland cops are washing their hands… [read post]

A reader snapped this photo of a parked car in Southeast Portland yesterday morning: According to the reader, it's the work of "a lazy inspector not wanting to park and walk a block and a half down to those new 'move the house condo's' on 38th and Division. I wish I were making this up. It looks as though two of the Chimp's best people are going to be held in contempt of Congress. But he doesn't care, because he'll just have Rove order Gonzales to order the U.S. attorney in D.C. not to pursue the charges. He's doing such a great job, I think they ought to cut our leader some slack. [read post]
